Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harold Zoid (ranked 840 p4p, 107 weight class) and Mohsin Zaidi (ranked 882 p4p, 112 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mohsin Zaidi!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Zaidi misses
and Zoid counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Mohsin Zaidi has been cut.
Zaidi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A left lands for Zoid.
Zoid misses with a two punch combination.
Zaidi walks into a stiff left hand from Zoid.
Zaidi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A left lands for Zoid.
Zaidi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zoid jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Zaidi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Zoid.
Zoid moves out of range as Zaidi throws a body kick.
Zaidi throws a head kick that misses
and Zoid counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Zaidi fails with the takedown
enabling Zoid to counter with a crisp jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Zaidi.
Zaidi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Zaidi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Zaidi creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Zoid is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at FIERCE - {{$750}} - 15 Elite Coaches, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zoid is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Zaidi has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Zoid trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Zaidi looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Zoid is avoiding damage well.
Zaidi working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Zoid is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Zaidi is controlling him well.
Zaidi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Zaidi tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Zoid pushes Zaidi away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Zaidi gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Zoid is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Zoid wants to get back to his feet but Zaidi drags him back down.
Zoid explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Zaidi moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Zaidi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zoid.
Zaidi on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Zoid takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Zaidi throws a head kick that misses
and Zoid counters with a nice uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zoid throws a leg kick but Zaidi moved away.
Zoid scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Zaidi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Zoid connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Zaidi scrambles back to his feet.
Zaidi tries a head kick but it misses.
Zoid looks to land a right hand but Zaidi moved out of range.
Zoid lands with a cross.
Zaidi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Zoid throws a wild body kick that Zaidi sees coming a mile off.
The fighters circle momentarily. Zoid darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Zaidi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Zoid.
Zaidi throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Zoid counters with a good low kick that Zaidi was not able to check.
Zoid lands a glancing blow to the side of Zaidi's head.
Zaidi is rocked!
Nice body kick from Zoid.
Zaidi is still on wobbly legs! Can Zoid finish him?
Zoid closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Zaidi out cold! Zaidi corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Harold Zoid!
After the fight, Harold Zoid was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
