The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Kata moves into the clinch.

Kata pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Kata changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Baines looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kata throws a strike aimed at the side of Baines's head but Baines avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baines is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kata off and has taken his back!
Kata could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
