Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cole Norton (ranked 24642 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremiah Warrior (ranked 5080 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cole Norton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremiah Warrior!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Warrior gets a clinch.
Norton really is a fat lump.
Warrior is trying to drag Norton to the mat but Norton just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Norton changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Warrior fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Warrior clinches up with Norton and pushes him back against the cage.
Warrior wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Warrior tries for a takedown but Norton manages to get underhooks.
Norton is pressed up against the cage. Warrior has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Norton down to the mat. Norton avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Cole Norton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremiah Warrior.
Norton wants to clinch up but Warrior keeps it at a distance.

Warrior shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Norton as he avoids it easily.

Warrior is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Norton gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Warrior tries to pull guard but Norton won't allow it.

Norton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Warrior tries to avoid it but Norton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Warrior to the ground. Warrior escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Warrior tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Norton paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Norton appears to be looking for a big counter.
Norton leaves Warrior with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Warrior throws a body kick that misses.
Norton tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Warrior manages to circle out of the way.
Warrior shoots in and drives through. Norton sprawls well.
Norton is looking to counter the offense by Warrior and move into the clinch.
Warrior doesn't manage to clinch there - Norton circles away.

Warrior takes the fight into the clinch.
Warrior jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Norton walks away with a smile on his face. Warrior gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Warrior shoots for a double leg takedown but Norton sprawls well. He's pushed Warrior's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Norton went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Warrior looks winded!

Warrior looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Warrior clinches up against the cage.
Warrior has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Norton avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Warrior tries to pull guard but Norton forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Norton prevents a takedown attempt there.
Norton is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Warrior is defending well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Warrior wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Norton has him pressed against the cage.

Norton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Warrior looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Warrior lands with a shot to the body.
Cole Norton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Norton displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Warrior.
Warrior tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Norton swivels and escapes.
Norton is looking to counter the offense by Warrior and move into the clinch.
Warrior is breathing heavily.

Warrior manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Norton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Warrior swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Norton stands up and waves to Warrior to follow him.
Norton displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Warrior.

Norton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Norton is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Norton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Norton chips away with some ground and pound.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Norton swats away the attempt to clinch by Warrior.
Norton wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Norton wants to clinch up but Warrior keeps it at a distance.
Warrior tries to clinch but Norton moves out of range.
Norton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Warrior unleashes a big counter combination but Norton bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Jeremiah Warrior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Norton looks for a takedown but Warrior sprawls well.
Warrior tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cole Norton will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Warrior shoots for a takedown but Norton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Norton seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
No luck for Warrior with that takedown attempt.
It looked like Norton was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Warrior.
Warrior moves in looking to clinch but Norton pushes him off.

Norton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Warrior's waist but Warrior gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Norton off to one side.

Norton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Warrior wants to get back to his feet but Norton is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Norton darts in looking for a takedown but Warrior gets double underhooks and turns Norton into the cage.
Warrior is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Norton shoots in looking for a takedown. Warrior tries to sprawl out of it but Norton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Warrior manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Warrior jumps guard but Norton turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Norton keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Warrior's efforts to push away.
Norton wants to take the fight to the mat but Warrior manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Warrior lands a hook to the side of the head.
Warrior is trying to drag Norton to the mat but Norton just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Jeremiah Warrior comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Warrior has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
