Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between nvus V (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Mountain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, nvus V! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Mountain! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mountain slips a straight right by V. V checks the leg kick. Mountain shoots in and drives through. V sprawls well. V misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nice takedown defense from V. No joy for Mountain on that attempt. Nice defenses there by Mountain. Mountain shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with V but V pushes him off and we're back to square one. nvus V has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Mountain. Mountain fails to land the takedown. A big right from V misses. V scores with a jab to the jaw. V swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mountain has a takedown stuffed. Mountain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. V tries to avoid it but Mountain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag V to the ground. V escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mountain looks gassed! Mountain looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? V is fending him off so far but Mountain persists. Nope, V circles away and we're back to standing. V throws a series of punches but Mountain moves out of range. V misses with an uppercut. Mountain saw that one coming. Mountain walks into a straight right hand from V.
It looks like Tom Mountain has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mountain takes a body punch but keeps moving. V drops Mountain with a left right combo! V follows him down to the ground into side control.
You can see the frustration on Mountain's face as V controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mountain is looking for a sweep. V wants to stand but Mountain has his arm trapped. Mountain stops V from passing to mount. Mountain struggling a bit here. V knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mountain on the ground. Mountain is trying to get back to half guard. V is staying tight to Mountain's torso, preventing him from escaping. V wants to stand but Mountain has his arm trapped.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mountain fails miserably with a takedown attempt. V jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Mountain closes this distance looking for a takedown but V circles away. V connects with a nice looking jab.

Mountain has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can V defend it? Mountain steps over the head and cranks it - V is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Mountain!
