Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Damion Frost (ranked 24570 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Bell (ranked 4600 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Damion Frost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Roman Bell! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell avoids the head kick by Frost.
Bell changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Good leg kick by Bell there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Frost tries to close the distance and clinch but Bell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The fight moves into the clinch position. Bell wants a takedown but no success here.
Bell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Frost fails in his attempt to clinch. No luck for Frost with that takedown attempt. Frost sets himself, and Bell steps forward looking for the clinch! Frost avoids it this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bell jabs Frost to the body, keeping him at a distance. Frost is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bell sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Frost throws a body shot but no joy. Bell steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Frost.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frost closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Bell controlling the position for now. Bell slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Frost could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bell has a closed guard, preventing Frost from standing up. Bell looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Frost throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frost won't allow Bell to sweep him here. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bell holds on and takes a little breather. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Frost accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bell lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Bell won't allow Frost to sweep him here. Frost knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bell on the ground. Bell sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frost bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bell's guard. Frost preventing the sweep. Bell manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Frost is working Bell over against the cage. Frost is looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damion Frost. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bell breaks from the clinch.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Bell gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Frost.

Frost looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Bell successfully pulls guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bell avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bell is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roman Bell dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Frost misses with a takedown attempt and Bell holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Frost is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bell to keep the fight standing. Bell has Frost pressed against the cage, preventing Frost from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Bell breaks from the clinch.

Bell rushes Frost and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Bell throws a knee to the head but misses.

Bell working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Frost. Frost drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bell dives on top into guard. Frost is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bell postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Frost working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell stands up from guard. Let's bang! Frost tries to clinch up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bell. Frost moves in looking to clinch but Bell pushes him off. Bell is trying hard to land a takedown here. Frost sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bell has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Frost's waist but Frost gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bell off to one side. Bell is breathing heavily. A punch combination from Bell misses. Bell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Frost wants to sweep but no luck. Frost trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roman Bell has got the better of the ground game so far. Frost is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Frost is striking but Bell is not phased and passes to half guard. Frost has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bell is working away from the top position though. Well, if Bell is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bell working over Frost with some ground and pound. Frost looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Frost tries to get to full guard but Bell has control of the leg. Bell stalling. Frost manages to get to full guard.
Bell controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bell is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roman Bell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Bell closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bell decides to take the fight back to the feet. Frost gets caught napping as Bell dives in and scores a takedown. Frost manages to retain guard. Bell stopping the sweep attempt from Frost. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bell is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Frost working for submissions but it's allowed Bell to get to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Frost has hold of Bell's hands but Bell slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Bell is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Bell stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Frost. Bell misses with a takedown and Frost counters with a nice leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Frost makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Frost. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Frost is on top in guard.
Bell is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bell will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Frost postures up in Bell's guard and throws a big left but Bell blocks it. Frost lands a couple of elbows. Frost stopping the sweep attempt from Bell. Frost trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bell looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Frost won't allow Bell to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bell has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Frost preventing the sweep. Bell manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bell's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Bell is defending well against a takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Roman Bell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
