Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnathan Casey (ranked 24256 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Kozma (ranked 5291 p4p, 0 weight class). David Kozma will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnathan Casey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Kozma! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Casey swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kozma throws a body shot but no joy. Kozma lands a nice shot to the body.
Kozma throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kozma throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Casey checks a leg kick. An attempted straight right counter from Casey misses the target. Casey gets caught flat footed, as Kozma shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kozma scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Kozma is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kozma trying to control but Casey is working from the bottom. Kozma stays in close to Casey's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Casey is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kozma throws a combination that misses and Kozma takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Casey closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kozma quickly recovers to half guard. Kozma is trying to stand.
Casey missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kozma keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Kozma manages to escape and get back to his feet! Casey works the jab nicely. Kozma misses with a double jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kozma shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Casey throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kozma counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kozma seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Casey pulls Kozma in to control the position. Casey working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kozma. Casey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kozma wants to control from the top but Casey keeps moving. Casey can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kozma controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Casey throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Casey has an active guard here but Kozma has managed to pass into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kozma is just content to waste time from the top position. Casey takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Kozma dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Casey tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kozma defends well and Casey ends up having to push Kozma into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kozma tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Casey showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kozma.
Kozma ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Johnathan Casey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kozma scores with a punch to the head. Casey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kozma counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Casey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kozma, as that shot connected.
The fighters circling - Casey throws out the jab but it was never going to land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kozma showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Casey.
We've been informed that Kozma has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Casey ducks right into an uppercut from Kozma.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Kozma or perhaps it was just good defense by Casey, which made it look bad. Kozma throws out a leg kick but Casey moves out of range and Kozma only half commits. The fighters circle momentarily. Kozma darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Casey is rocked! Casey is holding his hands too far apart here. Kozma throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Casey is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
