Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, King Mejia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Robert Pukac! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pukac catches Mejia with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like King Mejia has been cut. Pukac lands a front kick. Pukac rushes Mejia and presses him up against the cage. Mejia leaning against his opponent.
A frustrated look appears on Mejia's face as he tries to break the clinch. Mejia is trying to force a seperation but Pukac has the dominant position. Pukac has Mejia pushed against the cage. Pukac swings away with an uppercut that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pukac gets through Mejia's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Mejia blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Pukac being controlled against the cage. Pukac manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Mejia is trying to break free. Mejia jumps guard.
Mejia throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Mejia looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Pukac puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Pukac is trying to control. Mejia wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Pukac prevents Mejia from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pukac trying to pass the guard but Mejia defending well. Pukac trying to control the action but Mejia is working from the bottom. Pukac trying to control the pace. Mejia is refusing to be controlled, as Pukac sits in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mejia is looking to control Pukac's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mejia avoid being mounted? Mejia manages to get to full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Pukac misses with a looping right. Robert Pukac is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mejia throws a combination that misses and Pukac counters with a nice body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Pukac. Those never looked like landing. Pukac throws a leg kick which misses Mejia's front leg but catches the back leg as Mejia tries to avoid it. Mejia really is a fat lump. Mejia instigates a clinch. Pukac is pushing Mejia up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Pukac lands a hook that snaps the head of Mejia backwards. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pukac tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Pukac dominated that round. The cut man is working on King Mejia's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Pukac closes the distance and clinches. Mejia is trying to push Pukac away but Pukac has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Pukac working aggressively here.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Pukac misses with a short punch on the inside. Pukac misses with a short punch on the inside. Pukac stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pukac wants it to stay on the feet. Pukac tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Mejia forces Pukac back against the cage and clinches. Pukac has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Pukac has a couple of punches blocked by Mejia.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Robert Pukac. Mejia takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Mejia rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pukac moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pukac gets a clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Mejia as Pukac tries to tie him up. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Mejia is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A short uppercut from Pukac. Mejia tries to break the clinch but Pukac is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Pukac showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on King Mejia's cut. That's time! Mejia's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Pukac thumps Mejia with a low kick. Pukac scores with a jab to the body. Pukac uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Pukac misses with a hook. Mejia ducked under it nicely. Pukac throws a right hand that misses
and Mejia connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Pukac throws out a loose jab but Mejia uses good head movement to avoid it. Pukac is looking to land body kicks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pukac looks to throw the jab but Mejia is out of range. Pukac gets a clinch. Pukac will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mejia up against the cage. Pukac scores with a nice hook to the head.

Pukac lands on the inside with an uppercut. Pukac has Mejia pressed against the cage, preventing Mejia from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Pukac working aggressively here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mejia looking to throw knees to the head but Pukac is blocking nicely.
