Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Nasty (ranked 4460 p4p, 359 weight class) and Alexei Babinski (ranked 3738 p4p, 320 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexei Babinski!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nasty closes the distance but Babinski moves to the side
and Babinski counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Nasty is looking to clinch.
Big Nasty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nasty misses with a shot to the body
and Babinski counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Big Nasty has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nasty looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Babinski is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nasty.
Nasty is looking for a counter combo.
Nasty tries to clinch up but Babinski circles away and keeps his distance.
Babinski with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A nice side step and Babinski releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

and Babinski counters with a head kick that drops Nasty to the mat! Nasty scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Nasty tries to clinch there but Babinski circles away.
Babinski tries to keep at a distance but Nasty has taken the fight into the clinch.
Nasty misses with a short punch on the inside.

Babinski lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Nasty looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Babinski lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Nasty.
Nasty is breathing heavily.
Nasty tries to work over Babinski's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Babinski scores with a shoulder strike.
Nasty has a couple of punches blocked by Babinski.

Babinski lands a nice uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Babinski creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Babinski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Babinski thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nasty darts in trying to clinch
and Babinski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nasty is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Babinski doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Nasty crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Nasty's bad books for that mishap!
