The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander drives through with a takedown into Dennis's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Dennis has his feet on Alexander's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Dennis gets tackled into the cage by Alexander. Alexander maintains the clinch.
Alexander jumps guard and drags Dennis to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Alexander wants to get back to his feet but Dennis is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Dennis passes Alexander's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Dennis is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Alexander is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Alexander has escaped and now he's on top!

Alexander shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dennis manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
