The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Kuschelb�r moves out of range of the body kick from McLarnin.
Von Kuschelb�r paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Von Kuschelb�r lunges at McLarnin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by McLarnin's hand.
Von Kuschelb�r connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McLarnin momentarily.
An inside leg kick lands from Von Kuschelb�r.
McLarnin drives through with a takedown into guard.
Von Kuschelb�r tries to land a sweep but no joy.
McLarnin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

It appears McLarnin was looking to counter with a kick there.
McLarnin misses with a jab, cross combination.

McLarnin bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

McLarnin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Von Kuschelb�r quickly recovers to half guard.
McLarnin wants to take a breather but Von Kuschelb�r is having none of it.

McLarnin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Still in half guard, McLarnin seems content to control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Von Kuschelb�r looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McLarnin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

After the fight, Friedrich Von Kuschelb�r was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
