Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jab Brown (ranked 469 p4p, 65 weight class) and Mick Dundee (ranked 1053 p4p, 136 weight class). Brown kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lützenkirchen - German Kiss . Mick Dundee told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jab Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
25 - 12 - 4, fighting out of Montreal, Mick Dundee!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Dundee.
Dundee gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Brown looking for a takedown.
Dundee gets through Brown's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Brown has Dundee pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Brown pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dundee tumbling to the mat - Brown dives into Dundee's guard.
Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dundee swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Brown has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Brown has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dundee is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Brown.

Brown drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dundee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dundee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dundee!

After the fight, Mick Dundee was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
