The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tiny shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Tiny seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Tiny tries to free his leg and advance position but Vanegas is retaining full guard.
Vanegas is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Tiny advances to half guard.
Vanegas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tiny. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Vanegas is defending against the submission attempts here by Tiny.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
