The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Francis DeMontford and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiley has closed the distance and engaged Sexton in a clinch.
Wiley has picked Sexton up - he's going for a ride! Wiley dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Wiley stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Wiley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wiley clinches up with Sexton and pushes him back against the cage.
Sexton pulls guard successfully.
Sexton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wiley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wiley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sexton avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Wiley distracts Sexton with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Sexton is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Wiley frees his head nicely. Oh but Sexton has switched to an armbar! Wiley is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
