The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampage misses with a body kick.
Rampage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Filipowicz.
Rampage tries to clinch
and Filipowicz counters with a nice uppercut.
Filipowicz lands with a hook. Rampage tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Rampage shoots in and drives through. Filipowicz sprawls well.
Rampage fails with the takedown.
Filipowicz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rampage.

Rampage is trying to maintain a safe position but Filipowicz gets an underhook and turns Rampage into the cage.

Rampage wants to get back to striking at distance but Filipowicz won't allow it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Filipowicz lands a hook that snaps the head of Rampage backwards.

Rampage drops down looking for an ankle pick but Filipowicz pulls his leg out and moves away.
Michal Filipowicz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rampage is breathing heavily.
Filipowicz tests Rampage's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Filipowicz ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Filipowicz thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Rampage if he has to take too many more of those.
Filipowicz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rampage's calf.
Filipowicz throws a head kick that half lands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rampage takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Filipowicz lands a nice looking body shot.
Filipowicz cracks Rampage with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Filipowicz has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rampage to stand back up!
Rampage is rocked!
Rampage dives in and grabs Filipowicz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Filipowicz pushes down on Rampage's head and hops out.
Filipowicz looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Oh Rampage is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rampage fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rampage seems to have got his legs back now.
Filipowicz lands a big uppercut and Rampage crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rampage looks OK. Filipowicz waves Rampage back to his feet!
Filipowicz is stalking Rampage. Rampage circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Filipowicz, and it's lights out! Rampage really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Michal Filipowicz!
