Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bernardo Suarez (ranked 5163 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bongo Boogie (ranked 4933 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suarez throws a head kick that Boogie semi-blocks.

Boogie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Boogie stops Suarez from getting back to his feet.

Boogie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Suarez is just riding it out for now. Boogie eventually gives up the hold.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Boogie connects with a nice short shot to Suarez's temple.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bongo Boogie dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Suarez gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Boogie.
Boogie is working for takedown but Suarez is calmly controlling the position for now.

Boogie has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Suarez avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Bernardo Suarez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bongo Boogie.
