Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Otto Tallus (ranked 3774 p4p, 418 weight class) and Kane Hardley (ranked 4878 p4p, 469 weight class). Tallus comes into the arena with Poison Girl blaring out of the sound system. Hardley has chosen Amity Affliction - Death Hands as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Otto Tallus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kane Hardley! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tallus shoots in looking for a takedown. Hardley tries to sprawl out of it but Tallus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hardley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hardley looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Tallus shoots in and drives through. Hardley sprawls well. Tallus uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hardley. Tallus has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Hardley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hardley! But no joy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Otto Tallus. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tallus closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hardley circles away. A little jabbing left from Hardley on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Nice takedown defense from Hardley. No joy for Tallus on that attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hardley gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hardley looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Hardley wants to stand but Tallus is controlling the position. Hardley is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tallus seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Tallus's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tallus seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hardley for as long as he can get away with.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Tallus scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Kane Hardley has been cut. Tallus fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hardley swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. No luck with that takedown attempt from Tallus. Hardley clinches with his opponent.
Hardley tries a body shot but Tallus blocks it.
Hardley is pressed up against the cage. Tallus has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hardley down to the mat. Hardley avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Hardley connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Otto Tallus has been cut.

Tallus shoots in looking for a takedown. Hardley tries to sprawl out of it but Tallus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hardley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hardley! But no joy. Kane Hardley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tallus dives in for a single leg takedown but Hardley sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Hardley is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Tallus ducks under a wild hook from Hardley. Hardley misses with a hook. A head kick misses from Tallus. Tallus swats away the attempt to clinch by Hardley.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tallus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hardley defends it nicely. Tallus tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hardley swivels and escapes. Hardley fails in his attempt to clinch. Tallus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tallus shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tallus was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hardley is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Tallus has just dragged him back down to the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kane Hardley dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Tallus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hardley as he avoids it easily. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hardley! But no joy. Tallus looking to score a takedown here. Hardley is defending well but Tallus drives through and ends up in Hardley's guard. Tallus engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Tallus continues to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tallus will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tallus has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Hardley throws a shot from downtown. Tallus moves away and avoids it. Nice takedown defense from Hardley. No joy for Tallus on that attempt. Hardley fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hardley moves in looking to clinch but Tallus pushes him off. Tallus changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Tallus shoots in looking for a takedown. Hardley tries to sprawl out of it but Tallus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hardley paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Tallus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hardley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tallus somewhat. Hardley throws a jab but it's blocked by Tallus. Kane Hardley seems to be getting the better of the standup. Tallus fails with the takedown. Tallus fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hardley avoids it really well and circles away. Hardley is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

A jab from Hardley does it's job there. Hardley stuffs the takedown. Otto Tallus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tallus shoots in but no luck this time. Tallus is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Hardley is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Hardley lands with a light punch inside. Hardley stalling in the clinch but Tallus improves position. Tallus can't get the takedown.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hardley wants to stand up but Tallus is controlling him. Tallus stays in close to Hardley's body and controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kane Hardley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Tallus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Hardley is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Hardley has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hardley works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hardley tries to stall but Tallus uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hardley makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Hardley prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Hardley dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Tallus letting Hardley take a breather here. Tallus can't get the takedown.
Hardley lands a left hand that snaps the head of Tallus backwards. Hardley is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Kane Hardley. Hardley lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Tallus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hardley but Hardley pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hardley throws a looping overhand right but Tallus ducks down to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tallus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hardley as he avoids it easily. Hardley tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tallus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hardley but Hardley pushes him off and we're back to square one. Tallus walks into a straight right hand from Hardley. Tallus throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hardley tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tallus is in Hardley's guard. Tallus controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hardley wants to stand and escape but Tallus is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Kane Hardley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hardley winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
