Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michal Materla (ranked 3345 p4p, 0 weight class) and WoW WoW (ranked 6987 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michal Materla! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, WoW WoW! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! WoW blocks a head kick by Materla.
A countering left hand to the body from WoW misses. Materla shoots in for a takedown but WoW shows good takedown defense. Materla throws a head kick that misses. WoW swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Materla gets a clinch. Materla pulls guard. Materla is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. WoW is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. WoW wanted to stand there but Materla had control of the position. Materla is looking to stand up but WoW isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Materla seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. WoW decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Materla, up you get! Materla closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Materla lands in his opponent's guard. WoW working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Materla. Materla wants to get up but he can't break WoW's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Materla looking to control the position here, rather than advance. WoW is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Materla trying to stand up but can't free himself from WoW's guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Materla doesn't succeed with the takedown and WoW counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Materla shoots in but WoW avoids the takedown attempt easily. WoW let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michal Materla. That's going to take a lot out of him. Materla throws a series of punches but WoW avoids them all with ease. WoW is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Materla with a body shot. WoW moves in looking to clinch but Materla pushes him off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Materla throws a sloppy head kick and WoW makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Materla throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and WoW counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Materla thinking. Materla fails with the takedown and WoW counters with a lovely shot to the body. WoW tries to keep at a distance but Materla has taken the fight into the clinch. Materla wants to take the fight to the mat but WoW manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Materla tries to circle away but WoW has him pinned against the cage. WoW tries to throw a body punch but Materla avoids it by throwing WoW back against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Michal Materla will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Materla misses with a takedown and WoW counters with a nice body shot. Materla shoots in looking for a takedown. WoW tries to sprawl out of it but Materla keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. WoW manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A countering left hand to the body from WoW misses. A jab lands there for Materla. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Materla misses with a takedown and WoW counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michal Materla. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. WoW wants to clinch up but Materla keeps it at a distance. WoW pushes Materla up against the cage in a clinch. Materla jumps guard but WoW stands there with Materla around his waist. Materla gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Materla jumps guard but WoW turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Materla wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Materla is trying to control the position but WoW postures up. WoW content to stall in guard here. WoW won't allow Materla to sweep him here. Materla looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
WoW trying to control the position from guard on top but Materla is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. WoW is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. WoW wants to stand but Materla has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Materla shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. WoW defends it nicely. WoW throws a counter combo. Materla shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. WoW is trying to defend but Materla finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. WoW manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Materla keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
WoW WoW showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Materla misses with a takedown and WoW makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Materla keeps the fight on the outside. Nice sprawl there from WoW as Materla shoots in. WoW let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Michal Materla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Materla with a poor takedown and WoW counters with a lovely shot to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michal Materla. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. WoW closes the distance and clinches. WoW scores with a hook to the body. Materla tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

WoW breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Materla doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling WoW to counter with a crisp jab. Materla has his takedown stuffed and WoW counters with a left to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily. WoW keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Materla tries to clinch up and WoW counters with a nice body shot. Materla gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and WoW counters with a right hand to the body. Materla shoots in looking for a takedown but WoW manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Materla's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. WoW stuffs the takedown attempt from Materla. Materla gets slowly back to his feet. Materla gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and WoW counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. WoW moves into the clinch. WoW goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Materla tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Materla wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but WoW has him pressed against the cage. WoW tries to work over Materla's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Materla tries to pull guard but WoW holds him up against the cage and eventually Materla drops back down to his feet.
Materla is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Materla is trying to pull guard but WoW has him pressed against the cage. Materla can't find room to land a body shot as WoW controls the action.
Materla escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Materla fails to land the takedown. WoW appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. WoW moves into the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Materla is trying to pull guard but WoW turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by WoW as Materla tries to tie him up.
And that's the end of the fight! WoW WoW comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well WoW has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
