Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joost Van Dijk (ranked 3995 p4p, 182 weight class) and Torq Bosley (ranked 3446 p4p, 84 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joost Van Dijk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bosley rushes Van Dijk and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Van Dijk working hard to break the clinch.
Bosley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Van Dijk gets caught napping as Bosley dives in and scores a takedown. Van Dijk manages to retain guard.
Bosley postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Van Dijk utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bosley is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Van Dijk is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bosley is aware though and is defending well.

Bosley is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Van Dijk knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Van Dijk tries to bench press Bosley off him but Bosley keeps the position.

Bosley is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Van Dijk has escaped the position, nice work there.
Bosley tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bosley has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Van Dijk finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Bosley swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Van Dijk avoids the body shot from Bosley.
Bosley moves into range and clinches up with Van Dijk.
Van Dijk misses with a punch to the body.
Bosley wants the takedown. Van Dijk is fighting it off but Bosley persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Van Dijk's guard against the cage.
Bosley is looking to work some ground and pound but Van Dijk has wrist control.
Van Dijk working for submissions but it's allowed Bosley to get to half guard.

Torq Bosley has got the better of the ground game so far.
Van Dijk has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bosley is working away from the top position though.
Bosley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Van Dijk jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bosley is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bosley and Van Dijk has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Van Dijk goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bosley rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Van Dijk's guard! Nice work there by Bosley!
Bosley drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Van Dijk manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bosley has Van Dijk in his guard.

Torq Bosley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

It looks like Torq Bosley has been cut.

Van Dijk appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Bosley throws a leg kick but Van Dijk sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Bosley tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Van Dijk swivels and escapes.
Bosley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Van Dijk avoids it really well and circles away.
Van Dijk tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Bosley manages to circle out of the way.
Torq Bosley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Dijk scores with a nice head shot.

Bosley loads up on a big right hand but Van Dijk slips the punch.
Bosley throws a body shot but no joy.
Bosley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Van Dijk sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bosley somewhat.
Joost Van Dijk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Torq Bosley.
Bosley takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bosley tries to score with a low kick but Van Dijk moves his leg out of the way.

Bosley throws a lazy right hand but Van Dijk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bosley rushes Van Dijk and presses him up against the cage.
Van Dijk is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Van Dijk breaks the clinch.
Bosley misses with a looping right.
Van Dijk pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bosley is out of range and Van Dijk settles back down.
Bosley throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Van Dijk scores with the left hand. Bosley knows he should have avoided that one.
Bosley avoids the head kick by Van Dijk.
A clash of legs there as Van Dijk blocks the low kick.
Joost Van Dijk has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Van Dijk tries to close the distance and clinch but Bosley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joost Van Dijk.
I think Bosley has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
