The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Your Mother is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garcia is breathing heavily.

Garcia drops back, looking for a kneebar! Your Mother looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Your Mother looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Your Mother!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
I looks like Your Mother might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Your Mother shoots and misses

and Garcia counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Garcia.
Your Mother is pressed up against the cage. Garcia has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Your Mother down to the mat. Your Mother avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Your Mother misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Your Mother changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Garcia tries to avoid it but Your Mother manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Garcia to the ground. Garcia escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jesus Garcia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Submit Your Mother.

Garcia shoots in and bounces Your Mother off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Garcia turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Your Mother off and cradles Garcia's limp body as Your Mother celebrates with his corner.
