Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Latrobe Arundel (ranked 2627 p4p, 300 weight class) and Marc Read (ranked 4471 p4p, 445 weight class). Arundel comes to the ring accompanied by Shook Ones. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Marc Read was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arundel throws a push kick but Read slaps the foot to one side.
Arundel throws a sloppy head kick and Read moves out of range easily.
Arundel throws a body punch but Read moves out of range.
Arundel just misses with a punch to the body.
A shot to the liver by Arundel. Beautiful body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Arundel thows a left - swing and a miss!
Arundel sets himself, and Read steps forward looking for the clinch! Arundel avoids it this time.
Arundel tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Read was well out of range. Poor timing from Arundel.
Read steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Arundel.
Arundel moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromRead.

Read takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Arundel has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Arundel scores with a jab to the head.
Arundel throws an off balance right hand
and Read counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Arundel lands a slapping body shot.
Arundel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Read manages to avoid it.
Read lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Arundel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Read moves away.
Read is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Arundel misses with an attempted mid kick.

Arundel connects with a high kick.
It looks like Marc Read has been cut.
Read looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Arundel lands with a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Arundel and Read are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Arundel throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Read into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Arundel knows it - he's on the ropes flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Latrobe Arundel!
During a confident post fight interview, Latrobe Arundel thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
