The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masvidal shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Guerrero is looking for a sweep. Masvidal is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Masvidal throwing shots but Guerrero is blocking nicely.

Guerrero drops down looking for a counter takedown but Masvidal sprawls and moves away.

Masvidal tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Guerrero defends well and Masvidal ends up having to push Guerrero into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Guerrero is trying to trip Masvidal . He has hold of a leg but Masvidal is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Guerrero persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Masvidal bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Guerrero's guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Masvidal connects with a nice short shot to Guerrero's temple.

Horrible takedown attempt by Masvidal or perhaps it was just good defense by Guerrero, which made it look bad.

Masvidal tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Guerrero manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Guerrero looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Masvidal is fending him off so far but Guerrero persists. Nope, Masvidal circles away and we're back to standing.
