Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Stahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Thortnon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Stahl has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stahl lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thortnon circles away quickly and effectively.
Thortnon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stahl moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A combination from Stahl does no damage.
Stahl will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Thortnon listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

and Stahl counters with a series of strikes. Thortnon will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Thortnon counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Stahl is breathing heavily.

Thortnon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stahl tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Stahl has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stahl is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Thortnon asserts his dominance and retains side control.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Let's hope that Thortnon has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Thortnon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stahl. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Stahl is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Thortnon has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Thortnon remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Stahl's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Stahl sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Thortnon stops Stahl from getting back to his feet.
Thortnon is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Joe Thortnon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Stahl is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Thortnon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Stahl looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Thortnon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stahl to the mat! Stahl manages to get full guard.

Stahl swats away the attempt to clinch by Thortnon.
Thortnon has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Thortnon throws a jab but it's blocked by Stahl.

Stahl looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jack Stahl has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Thortnon throws a head kick that misses.

Joe Thortnon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Thortnon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
