Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Haggar (ranked 6712 p4p, 172 weight class) and Spas Spasov (ranked 4532 p4p, 94 weight class). Spas Spasov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Haggar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Spas Spasov! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haggar fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Haggar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Spasov doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Spasov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Haggar throws a predictable looking body shot
and Spasov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Haggar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spasov tries to avoid it but Haggar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spasov to the ground. Spasov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Spasov throws a series of punches but Haggar avoids them all with ease. Haggar looks to land a right hand but Spasov moved out of range. Spasov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Haggar throws an overhand right that lands on Spasov's shoulder, as Spasov tries to avoid the shot. Haggar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Spasov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Mike Haggar has been cut. Spasov throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
This has been an exciting period of action! Spasov tries to clinch but Haggar is having none of it. Haggar appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Haggar throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Spasov makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Spasov tries to clinch up but Haggar circles away and keeps his distance. Spasov lands a jab to the nose. Spasov rushes Haggar and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Haggar has a couple of punches blocked by Spasov.

Haggar lands a couple of elbows. Haggar keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Spasov's head. Haggar trying to control the position from guard on top but Spasov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Haggar is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Spasov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Spasov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Haggar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Haggar has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Spasov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Haggar moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Haggar shoots for a double leg takedown but Spasov sprawls well. He's pushed Haggar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Haggar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Spasov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Spasov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Haggar misses with a takedown attempt letting Spasov counter with a right hand. Spasov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Spasov looks to land a combination but Haggar avoids it well. Haggar rushes Spasov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Spasov pulls guard effortlessly. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Haggar is in close to Spasov's body, working some short punches and elbows. Spasov manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Spasov is looking to stand up but Haggar isn't so interested in that idea. Haggar is working Spasov over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Spasov is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Haggar engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Haggar with a nice head shot there. Haggar wants to pass the guard but Spasov is keeping the position. Spasov trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Haggar won't allow Spasov to get back to his feet. Haggar chips away with some ground and pound. Haggar throws a big elbow that misses. Haggar with a nice head shot there. Spasov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Haggar wants to pass the guard but Spasov is keeping the position. Haggar working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Haggar's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Spasov has his feet on Haggar's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Haggar moves into range and clinches up with Spasov. Spasov jumps guard but Haggar stands there with Spasov around his waist. Spasov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Spasov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Spasov goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Spasov ducks under a wild hook from Haggar. Haggar throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Haggar. Spasov moves into the clinch successfully.
Haggar misses with a hook from the clinch. Haggar lands with a left to the head. Haggar is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Spasov lands a left and a right that send Haggar crashing to the mat, dazed. Spasov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Spasov drives through and clinches with Haggar against the cage.
Haggar tries to stall but Spasov uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Spasov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Spasov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oooooh!!! Spasov has knocked Haggar down with a huge combo! Spasov steps away and waves a wobbly Haggar back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Haggar is rocked! Spasov lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Haggar up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Spasov from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Haggar's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Spas Spasov! Spas Spasov seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
