The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Krisatov with that takedown attempt. Liddell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Liddell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Krisatov shoots in for a double leg but Liddell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Krisatov. Krisatov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Liddell's waist but Liddell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Krisatov off to one side. A combination from Liddell does no damage. Liddell swings for the body but Krisatov moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Liddell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Krisatov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Krisatov shoots in looking for a takedown. Liddell tries to sprawl out of it but Krisatov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Liddell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Horrible takedown by Krisatov or perhaps it was just good defense by Liddell which made him look bad. Krisatov looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Krisatov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Igor Krisatov has been cut. Liddell throws a series of punches but Krisatov avoids them all with ease. Liddell throws the kick towards the body but Krisatov avoids it. Liddell steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Krisatov is out on his feet! Liddell sets himself and nearly takes Krisatov's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
