Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalja Kuuppa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buster Killinger!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurstr�m and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuuppa takes one to the chin there.
Kuuppa takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kuuppa misses with a body punch
and Killinger counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Kalja Kuuppa has been cut.
Kuuppa throws a sloppy head kick and Killinger moves out of range easily.
Killinger punishes Kuuppa's body with a nice straight punch.
Kuuppa moves to clinch but Killinger breaks away
and Killinger counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kuuppa gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Killinger counters with a right hand from hell and Kuuppa is out cold! A vicious knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Buster Killinger!
In his post fight interview, Buster Killinger started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
