The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saxxon is looking to chop away at Carr's legs.
Saxxon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Carr.
Saxxon throws a leg kick but Carr checks it.
Carr goes for a double leg but Saxxon avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Saxxon continues to drive forward.
Saxxon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Saxxon throws a sloppy head kick and Carr moves out of range easily.

Carr seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Saxxon throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Carr is trying hard to land a takedown here. Saxxon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Saxxon leaves Carr with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
