PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edmundo Ware (ranked 24272 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandru Daniel (ranked 5091 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ware ducks under a wild hook from Daniel.
Ware throws a leg kick which misses Daniel's front leg but catches the back leg as Daniel tries to avoid it.

Daniel tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Daniel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ware does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Ware gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Ware apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Alexandru Daniel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round but I would say that Edmundo Ware will probably get the nod.
