PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jin Kazama (ranked 5012 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Specht (ranked 4918 p4p, 0 weight class). Kazama comes to the cage accompanied by https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MMuAqR_MjS8. Specht is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: blablabla. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jin Kazama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ken Specht!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Specht shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kazama as he jumps to the side.

Specht throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kazama's waist but Kazama gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Specht off to one side.

Kazama really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kazama has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Horrible takedown attempt by Kazama or perhaps it was just good defense by Specht, which made it look bad.
