Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tan Zan (ranked 783 p4p, 100 weight class) and John Johnson (ranked 2140 p4p, 249 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tan Zan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Zan avoids the head kick by Johnson.
Zan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
John Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Zan finds it's way round the side to connect with Johnson's head.
It looks like John Johnson has been cut.
Johnson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Zan to score with a decent uppercut.
Johnson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zan avoids it really well and circles away.
Johnson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Zan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nice body punch from Zan.
Zan works Johnson's body with a nice hook.
Zan sends Johnson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Zan is motioning to the referee to let Johnson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Johnson is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Zan counters with a left to the body.
Johnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Zan finish him?
Johnson looks winded!
Johnson tries to get into range but Zan steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Johnson! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Zan scores the big KO victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tan Zan!
