Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Kavanagh and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Han manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hood on his heels. He'll look to pass Hood's guard now, I'm sure.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Han drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hood dives on top into guard.

Hood keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Han's head.
Hood is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Han looking for a guillotine here but Hood defends easily.
Han throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hood throws a big right hand that misses.
Hood has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hood postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Han trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Han doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Han is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hood is aware though and is defending well.
Han working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Hood has passed into half guard!
Han wants to get back to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hood is looking to take a break and control but Han is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hood content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hood lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Han connecting with a few gentle strikes.
Han is looking for a sweep. Hood is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Hood moves in looking to clinch but Han pushes him off.
Han is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hood's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hood is trying to get back to full guard.
Han looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Han takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Hood is rocked!
Han lands a big elbow - Hood is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Han!
