Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ignatiy Davydkin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Coli Addison!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Addison feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Addison looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Davydkin keeping moving, preventing Addison from controlling successfully.
Davydkin has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Davydkin looking for a sweep. Not yet Davydkin, not yet.
Addison sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davydkin wants to sweep but no luck.
Davydkin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Davydkin is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Davydkin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Addison walks away with a smile on his face. Davydkin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Davydkin throws a right and a left that Addison avoids nicely.

Davydkin fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Davydkin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Addison is fending him off so far but Davydkin persists. Nope, Addison circles away and we're back to standing.

Addison has his foot on Davydkin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davydkin works his way back into a safe position though.

Davydkin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Addison swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Davydkin wants to control from the top but Addison keeps moving.
Addison pulls Davydkin in to control the position.
Davydkin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Addison wants to stand but Davydkin is controlling the position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Davydkin gets to his feet. Addison looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Davydkin tries to clinch but Addison is having none of it.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Davydkin closes the distance and clinches up with Addison, looking for a takedown. Davydkin pushes Addison against the cage but Addison circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Davydkin lands a glancing blow to the side of Addison's head.
Addison fails with an attempt to clinch.
Addison throws a body punch but Davydkin moves out of range.
Davydkin fails with the takedown.
Davydkin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Addison gets in close and instigates a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Coli Addison dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Nice takedown defense from Addison. No joy for Davydkin on that attempt.
Davydkin shoots in looking for a takedown but Addison manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Davydkin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Davydkin wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Addison tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Davydkin has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Davydkin wants to control the pace but Addison is squirming around nicely.

Poor strikes thrown by Davydkin there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Ignatiy Davydkin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Davydkin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Addison is looking to escape.

Davydkin throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Addison to regain full guard.
Addison is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Davydkin has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Davydkin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Coli Addison comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Addison has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
