Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexis Tucker (ranked 5316 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kayron Maclin (ranked 4968 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexis Tucker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kayron Maclin! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tucker dives in for a single leg takedown but Maclin sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Maclin throws a push kick but Tucker slaps the foot to one side. Tucker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Maclin but Maclin pushes him off and we're back to square one. Maclin is looking to land body kicks. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tucker. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexis Tucker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Maclin slaps away a takedown attempt from Tucker, before circling back to the center of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maclin throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Tucker is looking for a counter combo. Maclin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Maclin is trying to control. Tucker wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maclin sitting and controlling from the half guard. Tucker regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Maclin. Tucker is pulling down on Maclin's head to control his posture. Tucker keeping full guard, as Maclin tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Maclin controlling from the top position. Tucker controlling the position. Tucker is working an open guard so Maclin takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Maclin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Maclin looking to control but instead Tucker has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Maclin is looking to take a break and control but Tucker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Maclin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maclin is working for a kimura but Tucker is defending it quite comfortably.
Maclin is figuring out what he wants to do next. Tucker works his way to full guard. Good work. Maclin being controlled here momentarily. Maclin wants to pass the guard but Tucker is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Tucker is trying to keep Maclin in close.
Maclin looking to pass the guard. Maclin content to stall in guard here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Maclin is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kayron Maclin dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Maclin rushes Tucker and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Tucker goes for a takedown attempt but Maclin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Maclin is looking to clinch. Tucker walks straight into a right hand from Maclin - that's dropped him! Maclin jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tucker from any more punishment! Tucker complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kayron Maclin!
