The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazama drives through and clinches with Klein against the cage.
Kazama is trying to break the clinch but Klein has him pressed against the cage.
Kazama gets control of Klein's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kazama will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Kazama looking to hit a scissor sweep but Klein is one step ahead there.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Klein enables Kazama to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Klein manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Klein wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kazama manages to pass to side control.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Klein connects with a nice short shot to Kazama's temple.
