Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marc Case (ranked 24904 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alimsultan Korgay (ranked 6492 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marc Case! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alimsultan Korgay! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Case misses with a jab to the body
and Korgay counters with a one-two to the body. Korgay goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Marc Case has been cut. Case looks to score with a jab to the body but Korgay is just out of range. Korgay closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Case quickly recovers to half guard. Case is trying to stand.
Case could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Korgay is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Case doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Korgay. Case looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Case wants to improve his position but Korgay is controlling well.
Case might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Korgay stalling away here and it's allowed Case to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Case wants to sweep but no luck. Case throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Korgay wants to control from the top but Case keeps moving. Korgay throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Korgay in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Case is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Korgay lands a jab-cross combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Korgay throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Case tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Korgay is in Case's guard. Case wants to stand but Korgay is controlling the position. Case avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Case throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Korgay looking to sit in guard and control but Case gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Case is looking to stand up but Korgay won't let him. Korgay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Case can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Case wants to get up but he can't break Korgay's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Korgay looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Case tries to stand but Korgay is controlling from the bottom. Korgay working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Case has passed into half guard!
Case looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Korgay flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Case content to control rather than advance. Korgay is looking to control Case's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Korgay avoid being mounted?
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Korgay changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Case throws a lazy body kick and Korgay connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Case closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Korgay to the mat! Korgay manages to get full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alimsultan Korgay dominated that round. The cut man is working on Marc Case's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Korgay shoots in and gets a takedown into Case's guard. Korgay stops Case from standing up. Case is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Korgay has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Korgay in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Korgay wants to control from the top but Case keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Korgay stops Case from standing up. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Korgay missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's one minute gone in the round. Case misses with a kick to the body.
A head kick misses from Case. Case is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Korgay. Korgay scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Case tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Case tries to lock up and control but Korgay gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Case is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Case takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Case's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Korgay misses with some ground and pound and Case recovers position to half guard. Korgay missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Korgay wants to control but Case is keeping him busy. Korgay stops Case from getting back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Korgay tries to pass the half guard into mount. Case knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Korgay misses with a head shot. Case uses the momentum to regain guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Korgay throws an elbow that misses. Case uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Korgay's guard. Nice move by Case! Case scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Case works over Korgay with some ground and pound from guard. Korgay looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Case got a little sloppy there for a moment and Korgay has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Case has managed to get both his arms back between Korgay's legs - danger averted. Case has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Korgay is proving hard to escape from. Korgay is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Case defends well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Korgay seems keen to control Case's posture. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Case landing some decent shots from guard. Alimsultan Korgay has got the better of the ground game so far. Korgay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Case can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Alimsultan Korgay showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Marc Case's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Case postures up and lands a big shot to Korgay's brow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Korgay pulls Case in to control the position. Case wants to stand but Korgay is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Korgay shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

A shot to the body from Case misses and Korgay counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Korgay throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Case tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Korgay is in Case's guard. Korgay missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Korgay throws a big right hand that misses. Case is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Korgay is controlling him. Case looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Korgay passes into half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Case blocking the ground and pound attempt from Korgay.
And that's the end of the fight! Alimsultan Korgay comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Korgay has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
