The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howell rushes Ramul and presses him up against the cage.
Howell gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ramul.
Howell manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Howell holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Howell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ramul avoids it really well and circles away.
Ramul tries to clinch up but Howell circles away and keeps his distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ramul misses with a double jab
and Howell counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Ramul is looking to get back to is feet but Howell passes into side control.
You can see the frustration on Ramul's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Howell lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ramul down.
Howell tries for a kimura but Ramul is defending well.
Howell in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Ramul is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
