Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lashawn Davis (ranked 4326 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Anderson (ranked 3609 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson with a lazy takedown attempt
and Davis counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Davis looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Anderson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Davis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anderson somewhat.
Davis shoots in looking for a takedown. Anderson tries to sprawl out of it but Davis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Anderson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Anderson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lashawn Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Anderson.

Anderson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Davis's head.
Oh Davis is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Anderson gets to his feet and stands over Davis, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Davis felt that one! Anderson unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Davis from any more punishment!
