Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Keller!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keller scores with a three punch combo!


It looks like Philip Clemons has been cut.
Keller throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Keller falls off balance throwing a combination

and Clemons counters by moving into the clinch.
Keller wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Keller throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Clemons blocks it with crossed arms.
Clemons tries to land knees in the clinch but Keller avoids the damage to the body.
Clemons jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Keller walks away with a smile on his face. Clemons gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Keller closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Clemons's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Clemons tries to clinch but Keller is having none of it.
Clemons takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Clemons could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Clemons gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Clemons decides to stand up, so the ref orders Keller to his feet.

and Clemons counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Keller pulls Clemons in close to his closed guard and prevents Clemons from doing any damage or advancing position.

Clemons is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Keller is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Keller has escaped and now he's on top!

Clemons might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Clemons gets to his feet. Keller looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Clemons closes the distance and pushes Keller back into the cage.
Keller is pressed up against the cage. Clemons has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Keller down to the mat. Keller avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Keller slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Clemons counters with a shoot takedown. Keller fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Keller manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Clemons manages to get himself to full guard.

Keller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Keller looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Clemons has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Keller after a bit of a struggle.
Keller wants to break the clinch but can't.

Chris Keller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Keller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Keller closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Keller lands in his opponent's guard.
Clemons is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Keller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Clemons has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Keller has managed to get both his arms back between Clemons's legs - danger averted.

That was a close second round but I would say that Philip Clemons will probably get the nod.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Clemons is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Keller has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
