And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ernst Singer!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cavendish misses with a few strikes there.
Horrible takedown by Singer or perhaps it was just good defense by Cavendish which made him look bad.

Reginald Cavendish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ernst Singer.
Cavendish rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Singer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Singer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cavendish as he avoids it easily.

That has opened up Ernst Singer's cut even more.
A jab-cross combination lands for Cavendish and sends Singer crashing to the mat! Cavendish follows him down to the mat - Singer regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Cavendish decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Ernst Singer's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ernst Singer's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
