Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Del Oeste (ranked 2313 p4p, 267 weight class) and Anderson Scorpion (ranked 1718 p4p, 213 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Del Oeste might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Coming Home. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Del Oeste!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anderson Scorpion!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Oeste moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Scorpion loads up on a big right hand but Del Oeste slips the punch.
Del Oeste misses with a straight right.
Scorpion dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Del Oeste shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Scorpion as he avoids it easily.
Del Oeste is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Scorpion.

Scorpion gets caught napping as Del Oeste dives in and scores a takedown. Scorpion manages to retain guard.
Scorpion told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Del Oeste postures up in Scorpion's guard and throws a big left but Scorpion blocks it.
Del Oeste won't allow Scorpion to sweep him here.
Del Oeste pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Scorpion is keeping the position for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Del Oeste with a flurry of punches that miss.
Del Oeste wants to pass the guard but Scorpion is keeping the position.

Del Oeste postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Scorpion is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Del Oeste, into his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Del Oeste has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Scorpion can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Del Oeste looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Del Oeste is looking to cinch up a triangle. Scorpion throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Del Oeste's body to avoid the submission. Del Oeste has instead reached around Scorpion's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Del Oeste arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ryan Del Oeste!
