Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Kropff (ranked 5033 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khon Saroth (ranked 4404 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Kropff, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kropff throws a jab when Saroth was well out of range.

A little jabbing left from Saroth on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kropff misses with a two punch combination.
Mauricio Kropff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Saroth.
Saroth shoots in but Kropff avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kropff fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Saroth throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Saroth tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kropff defends well and Saroth ends up having to push Kropff into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kropff throws a nice looking combination but Saroth bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Saroth now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Kropff throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kropff throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Saroth.
Kropff is breathing heavily.
Kropff throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Saroth moves out of range as Kropff strikes.
Saroth dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kropff. That did some damage!
Saroth closes the distance and clinches up with Kropff, looking for a takedown. Saroth pushes Kropff against the cage but Kropff circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No luck for Saroth with that takedown attempt.
Saroth throws a head kick that half lands.
Kropff misses with a hook
and Saroth counters with a series of strikes. Kropff will be more careful next time no doubt.
Saroth scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Saroth shoots for a double leg takedown but Kropff sprawls well. He's pushed Saroth's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Saroth closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kropff circles away.
Kropff appears to be looking for a big counter.

Kropff works over Saroth's head and body with a nice combination.
Saroth tries for a takedown but Kropff sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kropff bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Saroth's head backwards.
A left lands for Kropff.
Saroth is rocked!
Kropff lands with a big left! Saroth is wobbled badly! Kropff comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Saroth to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mauricio Kropff!
