Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dupont is defended easily by Naruhiko.
Naruhiko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dupont keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Naruhiko has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dupont is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Dupont decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Naruhiko regains full guard. Nicely done.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Naruhiko can do anything to dispel that myth.

Dupont wants to work for an arm triangle but Naruhiko is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Dupont shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Naruhiko pinned against the cage. Naruhiko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dupont shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Naruhiko is trying to defend but Dupont finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Dupont is looking to stall here but Naruhiko recovers full guard.

Dupont shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Naruhiko sprawls well. Naruhiko wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dupont gets slowly back to his feet.
