Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amanda Nunes (ranked 1822 p4p, 83 weight class) and Johannes Boe (ranked 2472 p4p, 107 weight class). Boe has chosen Agnes - Release Me as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Boe has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boe lands a nice looking kick to the body. Nunes takes a step back to recover.

A looping hook to the body misses from Boe. Nunes does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nunes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boe moves away.

Boe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nunes throws out the jab.

and Nunes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nunes throws a hook but Boe avoids it easily.
Boe swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Nunes closes the distance and clinches.
Nunes lands a body punch.
Nunes has Boe pressed against the cage, preventing Boe from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Boe's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
