Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kirby Stout (ranked 7274 p4p, 0 weight class) and Datu Bahktayn (ranked 7097 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kirby Stout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Datu Bahktayn!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bahktayn closes the distance and clinches up with Stout, looking for a takedown. Bahktayn pushes Stout against the cage but Stout circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bahktayn is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Stout's half guard.

Stout kicks Bahktayn off and gets back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Stout.

Bahktayn throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stout tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bahktayn is in Stout's guard.

Bahktayn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stout.

Datu Bahktayn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

A quick step to the side and Stout tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bahktayn has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Stout tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bahktayn swats him away and circles back towards the center.
No luck for Bahktayn with that takedown attempt.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bahktayn creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Datu Bahktayn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bahktayn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
