Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stewey Quagmire (ranked 6873 p4p, 0 weight class) and Berklerk Pinsinchai (ranked 4987 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stewey Quagmire! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Berklerk Pinsinchai! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quagmire misses with a takedown and Pinsinchai counters with a head kick. That will keep Quagmire thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Pinsinchai looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Quagmire keeping control of the position. Quagmire has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pinsinchai is working away from the top position though. It looks like Pinsinchai is going to stand back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quagmire slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Quagmire is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quagmire is trying to control the action in half guard but Pinsinchai is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Quagmire controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quagmire tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pinsinchai knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Quagmire not doing much here.
Quagmire seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pinsinchai for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Pinsinchai is staying active underneath Quagmire, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Quagmire in particular looking to stall. Quagmire is pressing down on Pinsinchai's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pinsinchai is holding on for now. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quagmire is taking a breather. Pinsinchai says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Quagmire scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Pinsinchai tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Quagmire is riding his opponent, not letting Pinsinchai buck him off. Quagmire is looking to control Pinsinchai but Pinsinchai is wriggling around and keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pinsinchai is trying to stand back up. Quagmire has good solid back control here. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pinsinchai looking very determined here, making life difficult for Quagmire.
Pinsinchai is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Quagmire off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Quagmire controlling from the back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Stewey Quagmire will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Quagmire has his takedown stuffed and Quagmire takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Quagmire will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Quagmire with a poor takedown and Pinsinchai counters with a big head kick but Quagmire shrugs it off. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stewey Quagmire. That's going to take a lot out of him. Quagmire takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Quagmire fails with the takedown and Pinsinchai counters with a head kick. That will keep Quagmire thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Quagmire with a lazy takedown attempt and Pinsinchai counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Pinsinchai darts in and clinches Quagmire up against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pinsinchai gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Quagmire regains guard.
Pinsinchai wants to get up but he can't break Quagmire's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Quagmire trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pinsinchai wanted to stand there but Quagmire had control of the position. Quagmire is trying to control the position but Pinsinchai postures up. Pinsinchai wants to get up but he can't break Quagmire's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Quagmire is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Pinsinchai closes the distance and clinches. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. A short right hand to the side of the head by Pinsinchai. Quagmire jumps guard but Pinsinchai turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Pinsinchai is trying to trip Quagmire. He has hold of a leg but Quagmire is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Pinsinchai persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Pinsinchai tries to stand but Quagmire is controlling from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quagmire is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Quagmire lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Pinsinchai keeping moving, preventing Quagmire from controlling successfully. Pinsinchai wants to stand and escape but Quagmire is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Quagmire wants to control from the top but Pinsinchai keeps moving.

Quagmire shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pinsinchai but Pinsinchai pushes him off and we're back to square one. Pinsinchai is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Quagmire shoots in but no luck this time. Pinsinchai is looking for the big counter here. Pinsinchai drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Pinsinchai wants to stand but Quagmire is controlling his posture from full guard. Quagmire not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Pinsinchai must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Pinsinchai stopping the sweep attempt from Quagmire. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Quagmire seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

And that's the end of the fight! Berklerk Pinsinchai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pinsinchai has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
