Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bernardo Suarez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Saul Hudson! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hudson avoids the head kick by Suarez.
Hudson goes for a double leg but Suarez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Suarez continues to drive forward. No luck for Hudson with that takedown attempt. Suarez moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Suarez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hudson sprawls well. Hudson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Suarez gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Suarez throws a head kick that half lands.
Suarez connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hudson. Hudson circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Suarez's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Suarez duly obliges.
That's one minute gone in the round. A chopping leg kick lands by Suarez. Hudson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Suarez avoids it really well and circles away. Bernardo Suarez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saul Hudson. Suarez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hudson dives in and scores a takedown into Suarez's guard. Hudson drops back looking for a leg! Suarez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Suarez manages to kick Hudson off! Hudson jumps back into Suarez's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hudson controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Suarez wants to stand but Hudson is controlling the position. Suarez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hudson controls the pace. Suarez seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Suarez wants to stand up but Hudson is controlling him. Hudson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. It looks like Hudson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jab from Suarez.

Suarez throws a head kick that misses and Hudson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hudson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Hudson looks winded! Hudson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hudson sitting in guard here, content to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hudson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Suarez being controlled here, momentarily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Suarez looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hudson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hudson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Suarez misses with a few strikes there.
Hudson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hudson needs to keep his hands up - Suarez had a free shot at his head there. We've been informed that Hudson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Suarez misses with a head kick.
And Hudson tries to counter it with a takedown but Suarez pushes his down on his head and steps out. Suarez connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Hudson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bernardo Suarez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saul Hudson. Hudson is breathing heavily.

Bernardo Suarez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hudson blocks a head kick by Suarez.
Suarez scores with a head kick. Hudson tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Suarez throws a lazy body kick and Hudson counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Suarez! Hudson works to advance to full mount. Suarez defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Hudson looking to control and managing it successfully. Suarez tries to hold on but Hudson pushes him away. Suarez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hudson on the ground. Hudson with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hudson working for a submission but Suarez is keeping him at bay.

Hudson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Suarez is surviving well by controlling Hudson's body position as best he can. Hudson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Suarez turns into him and now he's in Hudson's guard.
Suarez wants to pass the guard but Hudson is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hudson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Hudson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Suarez is pushing down on Hudson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hudson is fighting to maintain full guard but Suarez has managed to sneak the leg through. Hudson wants to improve his position but Suarez is controlling well.
Suarez is looking for a kimura but Hudson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Suarez to get the leverage. Hudson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Suarez is working away from the top position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hudson moves into full guard.
Hudson wants to sweep but no luck. Hudson is trying to keep Suarez in close.
Hudson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Suarez escapes and throws Hudson's legs to the side, diving into side control! Hudson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Hudson is trying to control Suarez's posture but Suarez avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bernardo Suarez dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Suarez throws a lazy head kick and Hudson counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Suarez! Hudson in side control, just content to control the action for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hudson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Hudson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Suarez's shoulder. That is not cool.

Suarez seems comfortable defending it but Hudson has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Suarez is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Suarez is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hudson couldn't care less - he's delighted!
