Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alicic shoots in for a double leg but Rose sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
And Rose tries to counter it with a takedown but Alicic pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Alicic wants to clinch.
Alicic is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rose sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Rose drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Alicic defends it well.
Alicic fails with the takedown
and Rose counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alen Alicic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rose takes a little break here. Alicic wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Rose tries to move to mount but Alicic blocks the move with his legs.

Alicic is trying to improve his position.
Rose just content to control the position.
Rose has control of an arm but Alicic manages to advance to Rose's back!
Alicic controlling the position well here. Rose rolled but Alicic kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Rose is trying to break free.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rose trying to control the hands but Alicic breaks the grip.
Alicic is throwing shots to the body but Rose manages to wriggle free. Alicic pounces on him again and ends up in Rose's guard.
Alicic wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Rose's closed guard. He's half up but Rose has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Rose pivots and extends the arm, Alicic falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Rose! Well done that man!
