Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emet Golem (ranked 3174 p4p, 358 weight class) and Alejandro Scott (ranked 2723 p4p, 324 weight class). Scott comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Alejandro - Lady Gaga kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Emet Golem is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golem walks into a straight right hand from Scott.
Golem defending well as Scott loads up on a big left hand.

Scott doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Scott takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Golem throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Golem lands a really nice looking cross but Scott seems unphased.
Scott shoots in looking for a takedown. Golem tries to sprawl out of it but Scott keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Golem manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Scott has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Scott throws a head kick but Golem moves out of range.
Scott with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Golem to score with a decent uppercut.

Scott throws a hook to the side of Golem's head but Golem sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Scott throws a head kick but Golem moves out of range.

Golem delivers a nice body kick.
Scott throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Golem throws an overhand right that lands on Scott's shoulder, as Scott tries to avoid the shot.
Golem loads up on a big right hand but Scott slips the punch.
Golem throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Golem throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Scott shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Scott darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Scott is looking for a kimura but Golem is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Scott to get the leverage.

Scott is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Scott is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Scott is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Scott wants to control from the top but Golem keeps moving.
Scott is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Scott is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Golem defends well.

Golem got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scott has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Golem has managed to get both his arms back between Scott's legs - danger averted.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Scott seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Golem does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Scott wants to control the pace but Golem is squirming around nicely.

Scott is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Golem can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
