Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robert Munson (ranked 1558 p4p, 199 weight class) and Boris Boulder (ranked 2868 p4p, 324 weight class). Boulder is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Nipsey Hussle - Victory Lap . Boris Boulder told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Boulder misses.
Munson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Boulder. That did some damage!
Boulder throws out a leg kick but Munson moves out of range and Boulder only half commits.
Boulder misses with a looping left.
Munson ducks under a wild hook from Boulder.

and Munson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Boris Boulder has been cut.

Boulder fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Munson on the side of the head.
Munson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Munson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boulder.
Munson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boulder drops his hands momentarily and Munson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Boulder shoots in but Munson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Munson finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boulder shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Munson sprawls well. Munson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boulder gets slowly back to his feet.
Boulder takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oooooh!!! Munson has knocked Boulder down with a huge combo! Munson steps away and waves a wobbly Boulder back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
