Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gerardo Pacheco (ranked 1997 p4p, 203 weight class) and Aldo Crespo (ranked 1717 p4p, 186 weight class). Crespo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Toxic Waltz kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Aldo Crespo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Gerardo Pacheco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aldo Crespo! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good exchange - Pacheco coming out on top. Crespo lands with a nice body kick. Pacheco throws a looping overhand right but Crespo ducks down to avoid it. Crespo darts in looking for a takedown but Pacheco gets double underhooks and turns Crespo into the ropes. Pacheco lands with a straight right. Crespo didn't see that one coming. A slow jab from Pacheco misses its intended target. Pacheco displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Crespo. Pacheco throws a series of punches but Crespo moves out of range. Crespo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pacheco. Crespo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Pacheco scores with a nice strike. Crespo throws an off balance right hand
and Pacheco connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Crespo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pacheco throws a shot from downtown. Crespo moves away and avoids it. Pacheco takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Crespo avoids the body shot from Pacheco.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crespo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Pacheco throws a nice looking combination but Crespo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Pacheco has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gentlemans Offence and Defense System in the buildup to the fight. Gerardo Pacheco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crespo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Crespo moves out of range of the strikes. Pacheco takes one to the chin there. Crespo moves out of range of the strikes. Crespo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pacheco was well out of range. Poor timing from Crespo. A jab from Crespo finds it's way through Pacheco's defenses. Pacheco wants to clinch. Pacheco throws a hook but Crespo blocks it. Pacheco swings for the body but Crespo moves out of range.
Crespo is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Pacheco avoids the body shot from Crespo.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Crespo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pacheco. Nice defenses there by Crespo. Pacheco throws a hook to the side of Crespo's head but Crespo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Pacheco takes a swing at Crespo's ribcage but misses. Pacheco throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice uppercut there from Crespo. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crespo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Gerardo Pacheco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aldo Crespo. Pacheco moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Crespo throws a head kick but Pacheco moves out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Crespo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Pacheco misses with a body shot.
Gerardo Pacheco is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pacheco throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pacheco throws out a token jab with nothing on it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Good exchange - Pacheco coming out on top. Crespo tries to land a body kick and Pacheco counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Crespo misses with a head kick.
Pacheco takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Pacheco is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Crespo can do to turn this around? Pacheco uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Pacheco lands a jab to the nose.
Crespo is rocked! Crespo misses with a lunging right hand
and Pacheco counters with a crisp right that sends Crespo to the canvas! Pacheco follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
