The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chabot stalks Small and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Small's face. Small staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Clint Small has been cut.
Sam Chabot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Small avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chabot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Chabot fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Small, pushing him back against the cage.
Small has Chabot pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Chabot manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

It looks like Chabot might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Chabot wants to get up but he can't break Small's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Chabot tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Small was well out of range. Poor timing from Chabot.

Chabot lands a big head kick that sends Small tumbling to the mat! Chabot takes a step backwards and waves Small back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Small tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chabot swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Oooooh!!! Chabot has knocked Small down with a huge combo! Chabot steps away and waves a wobbly Small back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Chabot. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

That was a close second round but I would say that Clint Small will probably get the nod.
